We are looking for a skilled Assistant Manager – Information Technology to manage and optimize our network infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will maintain software configurations on production servers, manage network device configurations, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure that production servers meet software configuration standards.
· Gain complete knowledge of Ismail Industries’ network and suggest improvements as needed.
· Manage the configuration of network devices.
· Comply with ISMS/BCMS policies and procedures, as well as any other requirements related to the company’s contractual and legal obligations.
· Troubleshoot issues faced by users when connecting via dial-up or VPN, and resolve login problems, either over the phone or by visiting their premises.
· Create intuitive and visually engaging dashboards to present KPI data in a digestible format for stakeholders at all levels.
· Conduct regular reviews of KPI data, examining trends, identifying anomalies, and addressing performance gaps through informed interventions.
Skills and Certifications Required:
· Possess IP networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
· Prior experience in a networking or similar role.
· Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures.
· Track and document network issues, compiling incident reports.
· Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies.
· Manage system backups and network security protocols.
· Respond to user requests and provide network training.
· Proactively use monitoring tools to analyze daily trends, identify systemic issues, and resolve them on time.
· Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
