ICI Pakistan Limited is hiring a Shift Manager – Services for its Production department based in Sheikhupura, Punjab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading implementation of Behavior-Based Safety in line with the Company’s HSE&S standards and ensuring zero LTI/RWI/MI for permanent and contactor staff.
- Ensuring effective use of all Utilities to achieve production and efficiency targets by supplying total power, along with other utilities, and closely monitoring process conditions and quality parameters for positive changes in quality and/or equipment behavior without delay.
- Initiating corrective actions with support from Plant Manager to minimize production losses and adverse effects on product quality.
- Ensuring effective operations of Gas & Steam turbines and coordinating with relevant departments for timely maintenance.
- Ensuring safe handling of boiler waste, including Flue Gases, Fly Ash, Bottom Ash and other industrial wastes, through COD and BOD testing as per NEQs and HSE&S standards.
- Ensuring safe operation of ETP by keeping excursions within limits of afore-mentioned standards, as well as operating and regularly monitoring fire-water networks and emergency equipment.
- Ensuring all applicable statutory requirements are fulfilled, such as Boiler Inspections, EPA and SNGPL, as required by law.
- Ensuring financial KPIs of the section (Revenue Expenditure and Manpower Overtime) are within budget.
- Planning Capex and Opex, energy budgeting feedbacks and monthly monitoring.
- Helping management and non-management grow through on-the-job coaching and behavior improvement and skill-development programmes.
