CAREER OPPORTUNITY AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER: Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) is a newly established Public Sector Power distribution Company of Pakistan, looking for a high caliber team leader from all over Pakistan for the position of “Chief Executive Officer” who has the demonstrated capability and potential to lead and keep the company on the track of persistent growth and creating value for its customers. The Company seeks proactive, result-oriented professional with established credibility and performance record, who can take challenging assignments. The candidate is required to have strong leadership, team building, change management, inter-personal & communication skills and be proactive, fully conversant with corporate environment with the high drive for performance targets as per the terms and conditions given here under:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Minimum 16 years of education in Engineering / Business Administration / Public Administration / Management Sciences / Finance / Commerce / Economics or;
A member of recognized body of professional accountants (CA/ACCA/CFA/ACMA or equivalent).
The candidate must possess at least 20 years of verifiable experience with at least 5 years’ experience at Senior Management / C-Level positions.
The candidate is required to have strong leadership, team building, change management, interpersonal & communication skills and be proactive, fully conversant with corporate environment with the high drive for performance targets.
The candidate must possess demonstrated capability and potential to lead and keep the company on the track of persistent growth and creating value for its customers. Must be well aware with the international best practices of the change management and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The Candidate must comply with the Fit and Proper Criteria in accordance with the Section 16 and Schedule IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023 and in consonance with the State-owned (Ownership & Management) Policy, 2023.
Upper age limit is 60 years on the closing date of advertisement.

PAY PACKAGE:

The Company offers congenial professional environment and an excellent market based competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualification and experience of the candidate.

TENURE & NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT: The employment shall be purely on contract basis for an initial period of three (3) years, extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on very good grading in performance appraisal by the Board in each year of service.

A “Declaration” on non-judicial stamp paper duly attested by an Oath Commission affirming, inter alia, that the applicant is not ineligible to act as a Chief Executive Officer under State-owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023 and State-Owned Enterprises (C-Level Appointments) Guidelines, 2024.

The candidates already working in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Public Organizations should apply through proper channel along with NOC of their department.
The candidate shall be required to resign from their current employer and provide a release letter prior to joining HAZECO.
