HABIBMETRO is inviting applications for “Senior Manager Taxation”, “AVP / VP” for Finance Division.
Experience:- 5 or more years of experience in similar role.
Technical Skillset:-
· Strong financial analysis and interpretation of financial statements.
· In depth knowledge of direct and indirect taxation laws and updated and tax accounting.
· Adequate knowledge of International Tax Treaties.
· Detailed understanding of international accounting standards including IAS & IFRS.
Regular Duties:-
· Preparation of tax returns on timely basis for all the jurisdictions including but not limited to regulators in Pakistan’s Federal and Provincial as well as AJK & GB jurisdictions.
· Handling tax audits including finalization of open tax years. Liaison with tax authorities, tax advisors, Lawyers and providing relevant information and details.
· Periodic calculation of current and deferred tax provision and recording periodic tax entries to cover the tax liabilities and contingencies in accordance with accounting policy, International Accounting Standards and GAP.
· Management, application and compliance of withholding tax regime as applicable on the banks under federal and provincial taxation laws.
· Identification and mitigation of tax risks.
· Tax advisory to internal stakeholders.
