Position: Manager – Accounts & Finance
Location: Clifton, Karachi
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Director Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Accounting Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date general ledger.
Implement and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

Monitor and manage company cash flow and liquidity.
Develop strategies to optimize working capital.
Ensure efficient banking and financial relationships.
Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Taxation & Compliance:

Ensure timely filing of corporate taxes, VAT/GST, and other statutory obligations.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.
Coordinate with tax authorities for audits and assessments.

Strategic Financial Planning:

Assist in long-term financial planning and investment decisions.
Provide insights into financial risks and opportunities.
Support business growth initiatives through financial analysis and feasibility studies.
Collaborate with senior management for financial decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, ACCA, CPA preferred).
7+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
