We are looking for Head of Procurement

Job Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of technical and non-technical materials, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of quality materials and services
Collaborate with departments to identify needs, plan procurement, and forecast material requirements
Review Request for proposals (RFPs) / Procurement Requisitions
Evaluate Suppliers through market research, prequalification, and performance reviews. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing, ensuring compliance with policies
Oversee purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of goods, materials and services
Ensure the timely bookings of GRNs against POs and manage timely invoices/payments & monthly closings with Finance & Accounts Team
Forecast Material requirement and Cost Analysis and maintain process/system to monitor and track Quality and timely delivery as per the Project’s requirement
Developing vendor base for civil material required like stones, tiles, marble, mosaics, precast items etc.,
Ensure supply of project/raw material cost effectively as per the Project plan and estimated time lines
Coordinate with internal stake holders like Engineers, Quality Team, Accounts, Store keeper etc., as and when required
Manage and mentor the procurement team, fostering technical competence and a results-driven approach

Education & Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Preferably Masters in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management or related field
10-12 years of relevant experience, in procurement, including leadership roles in real estate, construction, & Infrastructure companies
Strong knowledge of construction materials, logistics, supplier management and negotiation skills
