Location: Head Office Valencia Town, Lahore

Requirements:

Education: BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 12 to 15 years’ experience in Designing of Oil & Gas Projects mainly Bulk Oil Depots having Large Dia Steel Storage Tanks, Fire Water Tanks, Pumping, Fire Fighting and Safety Equipment, Piping, Gantries and Pipelines together with other ancillary works under code API-650. Exposure in the design of mechanical segments of Retail Outlets (Petrol Pumps) and ASME standard Pressure Vessels including LPG Tanks, Bowsers and other equipment will be an advantage.

Experience of Mechanical Design Work of Oil & Gas Projects in Saudi Arabia and Oman will be a definite plus.

Job Description:

• Head the Mechanical Design Department and manage, guide and lead the Design Team.
• Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects.
• Receive job order with complete scope of work from proposal and planning.
• Study and understand the scope of work, clear ambiguities with proposal, planning and client.
• Suggest more cost-effective and efficient design fulfilling client requirements.
• Start Design Calculations, assign drafting order to design engineers/draftsmen.
• Monitoring the design progress, reviewing drawings and special equipment.
• Getting approvals from Proposal / Planning, incorporate client’s comments & finalize designs after approval of Consultant & Client.
• Resubmission for final approval.
• Issuance of IFC drawings for construction.
• Design Coordination and technical assistance to Planning and Execution teams.
• Preparation of As-Built drawings on completion of projects.
• Other responsibilities assigned by Management.
