Anti-Money Laundering Specialist – Manager
Corporate Compliance & Secretarial
EFU Life is looking for a professional to become part of our Corporate Compliance & Secretarial Department. The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Ensure compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2010, SECP, and FMU guidelines.
- Implement AML policies and procedures.
- Oversee Know Your Customer (KYC) process and conduct enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers.
- Monitor the transactions to detect and report suspicious activities.
- Review work performed by the internal audit function.
- Report suspicious transactions to the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU).
- Conduct AML risk assessments and manage risks, especially for high-risk customers like Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
- Provide regular AML training to employees.
- Liaise with the regulator on AML compliance efforts.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and regulators on AML matters.
- Maintain and update AML records and reports.
- Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submission of reports and filings.
- Stay updated on global AML trends to improve compliance measures.
Requirements:
- Qualification: BBA/MBA/ACAMs or any other relevant qualification.
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in the compliance field.
