We are looking to add a member to our Quality (Washing) team, who is an expert in conducting inspections through Quality Performance indicators and processes monitoring, product capability evaluations, performance reporting and benchmarking best practices. A good fit for this role would be ideally someone who has the ability to play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Support with the execution of the Quality strategy for Washing and ensure all standards are being met
- Manage the daily target and make sure the quality standards in each section are being met
- Ensure the inspection of Whiskers and Scrap is according to the customer sample
- Responsible for execution of spray inspection and ensuring that the bulk production is as per approved sample
- Support with ensuring the shade band is as per approved customer sample
- Take charge of reporting product quality satisfaction indicators and incorporating feedback of customer
- Coach the team to understand and implement the relevant standards and technical documents
- Keep a record of the required documentation for every product and report important updates
- Conduct after wash specs measurement checks and ensure all quality standards are met
- Collaborate with the Washing team to generate the most effective solutions to the operational and technical issues
- Good interpersonal, multitasking, analytical and pressure handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership
- Has at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Quality (Washing) department of an apparel manufacturing concern.
Qualification Requirements: Masters/Bachelor’s of Quality Management or an equivalent qualification.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
