𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 is looking to hire a skilled and experienced professional for the position of 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 – 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

𝐨 Develop and manage a strong network of footwear manufacturers and suppliers for all footwear categories.
𝐨 Identify and onboard new factories with the right manufacturing capabilities while continuously evaluating existing vendors based on quality, pricing, capacity and delivery performance.
𝐨 Keeps complete knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes.
𝐨 Lead the complete product development process, coordinating with Design, Merchandising, Planning, Quality and vendors to ensure smooth execution from concept to bulk production.
𝐨 Review and negotiate product costing, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality and targeted margins.
𝐨 Understand material consumption, component costing, labor costing, packaging and production efficiencies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
𝐨 Build strong professional relationships with vendors and act as the primary point of contact for all sourcing and development activities.
𝐨 Monitor vendor production capacities and allocate business according to capability, specialization, quality performance and delivery commitments.
𝐨 Ensure timely sample development, approvals, production follow-up and on-time deliveries.
𝐨 Continuously explore new factories, materials, manufacturing technologies and market trends to strengthen the company’s sourcing capabilities.
𝐨 Maintain a healthy balance between quality, cost, speed and innovation while supporting the business objectives.
𝐨 Visit vendor’s manufacturing units regularly for product development, production reviews and quality assessments.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

𝐨 6–8 years of relevant experience in footwear sourcing, product development or manufacturing.
𝐨 Excellent knowledge of the complete footwear manufacturing process.
𝐨 Strong relationships with local footwear manufacturers and suppliers. Exposure to international sourcing will be an added advantage.
𝐨 Hands-on experience in footwear costing and commercial negotiations.
𝐨 Strong understanding of raw materials, soles, uppers, accessories, packaging and production techniques.
𝐨 Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
𝐨 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
𝐨 High level of ownership, integrity and accountability.
𝐨 Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple developments simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
