Job Title: Community Health Officer (CHO)
Location: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Karak, Gwadar, Ghotki, Karachi-Korangi, Karachi-East

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field visits to map, verify, and support selection of private healthcare providers, specialists, informal providers, and labs for universal TB coverage.
Liaise with HIV-trained paramedics, X-ray and X-pert technicians to strengthen diagnostic and referral services.
Engage and maintain active participation of private providers (including pharmacies) for TB case identification, registration, and referrals.
Organize and implement project activities such as chest camps, community meetings, and quarterly review meetings as per targets.
Ensure real-time DHIS2 data entry, validation, and maintenance of updated reporting and recording (R&R) tools.
Support patient management including contact screening, follow-up of LTFU cases, counseling, treatment adherence, and TB preventive therapy.
Coordinate logistics and program support including drug/supply delivery, lab coordination, IEC material display, MDR follow-up, and addressing provider concerns.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Job Specifications

Preferably Graduate
Prior experience in community-related work will be preferred, especially in TB project
Proficiency in relevant regional/local languages and familiarity with the assigned local territories are essential
Good communication skills
Personal motorcycle is mandatory

Job Title: Lab (Gene X-pert Testing) In-Charge

Location: Muzaffargarh

Key Responsibilities

Test clinical specimens of patients referred for TB diagnosis using Gene Xpert machine
Accurate, complete and timely reporting of results as well as to maintain and update the database/records of all the tests as per the timelines and SOPs/guidelines on standard recording tools and in the electronic database.
Report Rifampicin resistant cases with immediate effect and by the fastest means possible to the referring health facility/linked PMDT sites and inform the MDR focal person.
Coordinate closely with the referral health facility/ linked PMDT site and District TB control officer to ensure enrollment of all diagnosed cases.
Maintain Gene Xpert equipment and perform calibration as per users’ manual/ instruction provided.
Follow instructions for trouble shooting of minor errors/ faults in the Xpert machine. Immediately report technical issues to the Regional Coordinator
Monitor the stock status of cartridges and timely generate a demand for cartridges to avert expiries/ stock outs.
Give clear instructions to the patients for obtaining good quality sputum
Ensure uninterrupted provision of services and supplies
Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution; A Diploma or Certification in IT/computer skills is an added advantage
Candidates with FSC in Medical Laboratory Technology may also be considered if they have the required experience, competencies, and skills
Minimum (01) one-year experience of working in clinical /microbiology laboratory
The candidate must have basic knowledge and experience of working in a clinical /microbiology laboratory
Possession of computer skills and knowledge of data systems will be of additional value
Knowledge about bio-safety and infection control practices in a TB laboratory is desired
Must have good command of MS-Office especially, Power Point and MS-Excel
Excellent communication (verbal/written) strong managerial and leadership skills
Strong administrative skills and ability to pay attention to details

Job Title: Assistant Manager Community Health
Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular field visits to provide guidance and technical support while observing the processes and outcome at district/regional level.
Facilitation in selection of potential health service providers/private large and parastatal hospitals.
Facilitate all the trainings activities in the regions.
Prepare own work plan aligned with the work plan submitted by the CHOs/TB Screeners/District Coordinator (DC) and submit his/her and regional Work plan to the Regional Coordinator on monthly basis.
Will be responsible for functionality of Providers network as per updated TB guidelines.
Responsible to accurate data management and ensuring regular data entry both in hard & soft forms.
Review activities, work plan of the CHOs, TB Screeners, TB Counselors, DCs and provide feedback.
Timely reporting of the data/information from the field operation ensuring accuracy and credibility of reports.
Conduct random field visits to TB patients, labs, providers/Large hospitals, informal practitioners, IPC activities & chest camps for quality assurance, work plans compliance and performance evaluation.
Ensure regular, planned lab visits by field staff to maintain high-quality patient services.
Manage TB drug stock and inventory, including approval of district/zonal medicine requests at clinic level.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Job Specifications

Medical Graduate / MPH / Master’s degree / MBA
1-2 years field Operations experience in a managerial role preferred.
Experience of Data management and handling along with data analysis skills
Must have good command on MS-Office especially, Power Point and MS-Excel

Job Title: TB – Screener

Location: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sukkur, Karachi-Malir, Karachi-South

Key Responsibilities

Screen all beneficiaries visiting different OPDs using the TB screening tool, identify presumptive TB cases, and ensure timely referral to the designated doctor for further evaluation
Conduct regular follow-up of presumptive and registered TB patients through phone calls to ensure symptom monitoring, treatment adherence, and linkage to care until recovery or TB case registration
Coordinate with HIV-trained paramedics, X-ray/X-pert technicians, counselors, riders, and PMDT sites for timely diagnostics, reporting, contact screening, and management of Rifampicin Resistant (RR) TB cases
Ensure real-time DHIS2 data entry, validation, reporting accuracy, and maintenance of updated records, registers, and R&R tools in compliance with National TB Control Program and project operational guidelines
Maintain strong liaison with private healthcare providers, specialists, AFB labs, pharmacies, and district teams to support TB case notification, registration, uninterrupted supply of ATT drugs, lab materials, IEC materials, and timely reporting of supply shortages
Counsel TB patients and their families regarding treatment adherence, infection prevention, contact screening, and TB preventive therapy while responding promptly to providers’ and patients’ concerns
Follow up on lost-to-follow-up and not-evaluated TB patients for re-linkage to treatment, participate in inception and quarterly review meetings, and perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor

Job Specifications

FA/F.Sc, Preferably Graduation
0-2 years experience of community related work / TB Project
Ensure compliance of the National guidelines and operational guidelines/SOPs for project implementation
Prior experience in community-related work will be preferred, especially experience working on a TB project
Good communication skills
Personal motorcycle with a valid driving license is required

Job Title: Counselor – TB

Location: Karachi-East, Karachi-Malir

Key Responsibilities

Counsel registered index TB patients and their eligible family members for TPT through phone calls, at large private hospitals (that are selected for provision of TPT services), visiting households, etc.
Coordination on with the DFS for obtaining information about registered index TB patients and their family members
Visit Chest Camps (contact screening camps) for the provision of TPT services to eligible family members of index TB patients
Ensure household contacts of registered index TB patients at large private hospitals are screened via X-ray, checked up by physicians and putting on TPT if eligible by physician
Facilitate the household contacts put on TPT in case of adverse events and referred to the physician
Ensure TPT medicines are available, and in case of unavailability, report this to the concerned supervisor
Maintain records of contacts, i.e., those counseled and followed up until outcome declaration
Develop and follow the monthly work plan in coordination with the supervisor
Prepare a field progress report based on the work plan and submit it on a monthly basis Ensure Timely data collection and provision to sub-recipients for analysis
Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Job Specifications

Bachelors’ degree preferably Psychology / relevant discipline
Experience of working in development sector as counselor/similar role; Work experience in development sector is desirable
