Position: Process Engineer Ammonia
Fatima Group Corporate HSE & Technical Monitoring in Lahore Head Office is looking for an experienced professional for the Sr. Process Engineer position. The individual will report to Unit Manager Technical Monitoring. The role encompasses independent Technical Monitoring, Auditing, project development and KPIs based Reporting of Fatima Group Fertilizer Business.
Key Responsibilities
Detailed performance evaluation of FG Ammonia Plants under Technical Monitoring Program (TMP) and development of KPIs based Monitoring reports as per company SOPs.
Energy audits of Fertilizer Manufacturing Plants for independent assessment of Energy Management activities and compliance to applicable policies and processes.
Development of technical study packages related to modifications, troubleshooting, energy optimization, capacity enhancement and efficiency improvement.
Technical support to Fertilizer Manufacturing sites for turnaround activities (Catalyst replacement, chemical cleaning, Equipment inspections, etc.)
To keep abreast with local and global technological trends, incidents, and improvements through various available knowledge platforms.
Detailed analysis of downtime, Operational upsets and Process safety incidents.
Development of Aspen simulation models to support technical monitoring activities.
Potential to cross-train on various Process technologies and Plants within Fatima Group.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Proven experience of performance evaluation (TMP) data collection & report development, monitoring, auditing, and troubleshooting of Ammonia Technology.
Advance knowledge Engineering Software/simulation tools including Aspen.
Process monitoring, calculations, analytical and design skills for sizing and rating.
PHA studies and implementation of OSHA practice for safe plant operations.
Well versed with relevant Codes & Standards.
Knowledge of Basic and detailed engineering deliverables.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
Qualification & Experience
Education: B.Sc. Chemical Engineering
Process Technology: Ammonia plant
Experience: 8 to 12 years of work experience at a Fertilizer Complex

Position: Manager Civil
Job Summary: Lead the civil engineering department at the PFL manufacturing site by overseeing plant maintenance, reliability of plant and township assets and oversee new projects. The role ensures alignment with organizational strategy while maintaining compliance with site standards, HSE regulations, quality requirements, and management directives.
Key Responsibilities
Civil Function Leadership
Lead all civil engineering activities across plant and township facilities
Ensure structural integrity, asset reliability, and lifecycle management
Oversee execution of CAPEX, brownfield, and infrastructure improvement projects
Conceptualization/feasibility, Design, Engineering and Construction management of new Civil projects with quality, cost and on schedule
Coordinate with external Architecture and Structure Engineering consultants for design of new buildings
Governance & Strategic Alignment
Ensure civil works align with organizational strategy and business priorities
Provide oversight of the complete civil project and maintenance portfolio
Establish and monitor compliance with policies, standards, and legislation
Maintenance & Reliability
Manage routine civil maintenance, inspection programs, and infrastructure upkeep
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
Resource & Capability Management
Drive standardization, process optimization, and continuous improvement
Manage budgets, contractors, and resource allocation
Strengthen team capability through structured development initiatives
Support, Training & Consultancy
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to site civil teams
Offer civil engineering consultancy services across the group
Develop and standardize procedures, policies, and knowledge-sharing practices
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong background in plant civil maintenance and project execution
Proven leadership and contractor management experience
Strong knowledge of HSE, quality systems, and regulatory compliance
PgMP/PfMP certification will be an advantage
Qualification & Experience
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred)
20 years + experience in industrial / fertilizer / chemical / power plant environments
