Position: JOINT MANAGER – FIRE AND TERRORISM COMPLIANCE
COMPLIANCE AND CLAIMS DEPARTMENT
QUALIFICATION Minimum Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) or a Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
LOCATION KARACHI
EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Fire and Terrorism Compliance Department or a similar field.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- To enforce Fire and Terrorism underwriting manuals, SOPs, process flows, and memos in accordance with compliance SOP procedures.
- To implement Fire and Terrorism co-insurance guidelines and approve co-insurance business within the divisions.
- To analyze backdated covers/endorsements and ensure that no such policies or endorsements are issued, except as defined in the manual.
- To ensure that no unacceptable or below-average rated risks are underwritten without prior approval or consent.
- To ensure that no policy is issued on a standalone basis without Head Office approval.
- To promote understanding of the Fire and Terrorism compliance function at the divisional level.
- To ensure proper documentation of all variances, along with the closing status, is maintained and reported to the line manager.
- To submit monthly analytical reports highlighting key underwriting trends, including standalone policies and risks requiring special attention.
- To provide guidance to divisions regarding IT-related issues.
