RECRUITMENTS (PPS 2)

DEPARTMENT OF AQUACULTURE & FISHERIES, GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for recruitment on one year contract basis on project pay scale (PPS) basis (extendable upto gestation period) under the development project “Establishment of Hatchery Facilities for Pangasius and Other High Value Fish Species” (2024-25 to 2026-28) in the Department of Aquaculture & Fisheries, Punjab.

1. Fisheries Supervisor (PPS-2)

• Qualification & Experience: F.Sc. in Pre-Medical (minimum second division) from a recognized Board.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25

• No. of Posts: Dera Ghazi Khan (1)

• Initial Lump Sum Salary per Month: Rs. 45,000

2. Driver (PPS-2)

• Qualification & Experience: (i) Middle Pass having a valid LTV driving license with three years’ experience.

• Age Limit: 20 to 35

• No. of Posts: Lahore (2)

• Initial Lump Sum Salary per Month: Rs. 45,000

3. Beldars/ Fishermen Cum Beldars (PPS -2)

• Qualification & Experience: Literate and having experience in the relevant field.

• Age Limit: 18 to 25

• No. of Posts: Lahore (1)

• Initial Lump Sum Salary per Month: Rs. 40,000

4. Chowkidar (PPS -2)

• Qualification & Experience: Literate

• Age Limit: 21 to 35

• No. of Posts: Lahore (2)

• Initial Lump Sum Salary per Month: Rs. 40,000

5. Sweeper (PPS -2)

• Qualification & Experience: Literate

• Age Limit: 21 to 35

• No. of Posts: Lahore (1), Dera Ghazi Khan (1)

• Initial Lump Sum Salary per Month: Rs. 40,000

• Office for Submission of Applications: Deputy Director Fisheries (Pangasius Breeding), 9-A Bahawalpur Road, Chauburji, Lahore

Conditions:

• The recruitment will be purely on contract basis under PPS for the period of one year with performance base extendable upto the gestation period of project. The annual increment will be applied as per approved criteria.

• Candidates from only Punjab Province will be eligible to apply for the posts.

• In-service candidates will ensure (while applying for particular posts) that they have obtained/ applied for NOC/DPC from their concerned departments and will provide the same at the time of Interview (if called).

• All candidates must apply online on https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk/ as well as send a copy of an online submitted form, photocopies of CNIC, Domicile, Academics and Experience Certificates duly attested to the offices mentioned till 06.10.2026 within office hours.

• The applicant who will not submit both online and hard copy of documents, his/her application will be considered incomplete and will not be entertained

• For males +5 years and for females +8 years General age relaxation in upper age limit at the date of advertisement as per Govt. of Punjab, S&GAD Notification No, SORI(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016.

• The name of post for which candidate is willing to apply should be mentioned clearly both on application and envelope.

• Incomplete and after receipt of due date applications will not be acceptable and will be rejected without informing the applicants. In this regard, this office will not issue any information/ notification etc.

• Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of Interview along with copy of educational documents, experience certificates, Domicile, CNIC, two Passport size recent photographs and detailed CV.

• For multiple posts, candidates should submit application for each post separately.

• No TA/ DA will be admissible for test/ Interview,

• The Department is authorized for short-listing the candidates according to their eligibility and experience. The decision by the Selection Committee will be final.

• The Competent Authority may cancel the recruitment anytime without any prior notice.

• The date of interview/ test will be informed on given email/ contact number.

• The selected candidates will not establish any claim for the permanent appointment against these posts.

• The candidates should remain in contact with this office for further Information.
