FF Steel, a leading Grade 60 & Grade 80 Steel Bars manufacturer, having large-scale production units in Lahore & Peshawar is seeking applications from talented, passionate and energetic professional for their Works Department.

Instrument Engineer

Job Location: Lahore

Salary (PKR): Market Competitive

Requirements & Job Description:

Qualification & Experience: B.E / B.Sc degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering with 5 Years and at least 2 years minimum experience in a steel melting shop and rolling mill environment.

Strong hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems, with proven expertise in Siemens PLCs S7-1200 and S7-1500 using TIA Portal.

Practical knowledge of ABB AC drives (ACS 550), ABB DC drives (DCS 800), and Siemens SINAMICS inverters is required.

Well-versed in industrial communication protocols such as RS-485, Ethernet, Profibus, and Profinet.

Capable of installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial automation and instrumentation systems, including PLC panels, inverters, interlocking panels, and distributed control systems.

Good understanding of control, electrical, and instrumentation drawings is essential.

Supporting production operations, maximizing system efficiency and conversion rates, and managing and coordinating technical teams.

2Electrical Forman (Works Department)

Job Location: Lahore

Requirements & Job Description:

Qualification & Experience: DAE Electrical / B.Tech / B.Sc. Electrical or equivalent with 10–15 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in a steel melt shop.

Strong hands-on experience in induction furnace electrical systems, power and control systems.

Experience with rectifier transformers, rectifier/converter systems, furnace power circuits and control systems.

Good understanding of CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) electrical systems.

Experience with overhead cranes and their electrical/control systems.

Understanding of APC (Air pollution control).

Experience in troubleshooting electrical faults and breakdowns in melt shop equipment.
