AKD Securities Ltd are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Equity Trader to join our team and manage equity trading activities while identifying market opportunities and delivering strong execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute buy/sell orders in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in line with approved strategies and limits.
- Monitor market trends, stock movements, volumes, and corporate announcements.
- Conduct market and stock analysis to identify trading opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide timely market updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk limits, manage debits, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor portfolio/trading positions and manage trading risks effectively.
- Prepare daily trading and market activity reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in equity trading, preferably with a brokerage house.
- Strong knowledge of PSX, equity markets, and trading practices.
- Good analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
- PSX/TREC-related certifications or relevant capital market qualifications will be an advantage.
