Thar Coal Block-1 Power Generation Company (PVT) Ltd, wholly owned by Shanghai Electric Group, is engaged in power generation in Pakistan. The Company is one of the essential parts of Thar Coal Block-1 Integrated Energy Project, which is a flagship initiative under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Position Title D&A Inspection Engineer
Job requirements
- Conduct routine inspection and monitoring of D&A systems, including FGD, ESP, and ash handling units.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural abnormalities and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance and inspection activities comply with OEM guidelines, safety standards, and NEPRA/EPA regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and safety departments for shutdown and overhaul planning.
- Strong knowledge of FGD systems, ESPs, and ash handling equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inspection and maintenance within a coal fired power plant.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
