Applications are invited from SUITABLE, QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS to serve in Pakistan Railways on merit against the following posts:

Director (Information Technology) (MP-II)

Number of Posts: 01
Required Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems with 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- OR
- Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences, MBA in IT, or MBA in CIS/MIS with 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
Age Limit: Maximum 62 years
Deputy Director I.T. Infrastructure (MP-III)

Number of Posts: 01
Required Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or IT with 3 years of professional hands-on experience in IT/Networks/IT Infrastructure.
- OR
- Master’s in a relevant subject like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, IT, or a similar degree with 5 years of hands-on experience in servers, routing, switching, and firewalls. Only hands-on experience will be considered.
Age Limit: Maximum 62 years

Additional Information:

Recruitment will be made as per the updated MP Scales Policy, 2021 issued by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan (O.M. No. 1/3/2020-E-6/E-8 dated 24-05-2021).
The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for three (03) years, extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual (yearly) basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

The place of posting for the above posts will be at Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office in Lahore. However, based on requirements, the authority may post officers anywhere in Pakistan.
