DHL Global Forwarding Jobs IWS Operations Manager:

DHL Global Forwarding is currently looking to “IWS Operations Manager” for Integrated Warehouse Services Department – Karachi based.

Position: IWS Operations Manager
Location: Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan

Overview: Delivering logistics services as well as to ensure the service performance targets of DHL customers are successfully achieved. Deliver supply chain warehousing solutions to IWS customers.

Responsibilities:

Frequently review, align and keep Director updated information on operational issues and performances indices such as customer profile, Space Management, Resources management, Operating procedures and P&L status.
Participates in development of company’s long-term plans and making accurate decisions with recommendations resulting in the achievement of business objectives.
Achievement of Warehouse Operations across country wide and Customers KPIs.
Ensure implementation of company policies and regulations.
Review and work with Immediate Superior & lead Subordinates to drive business unit’s quality, cost effectiveness and other valued added activities to business development program.
Reviews quarterly operational performance with assigned customers account.
Provide solution to drive for operational excellence.
Build and maintain strong customer relationship.
Liaise with the Business Development team to work on existing business development and growth.
Work closely with Human Resource, IT, Finance, Safety, Security, Quality & Regional Legal department pertaining to non-operational issue, value added initiative, objectives and other improvement program.
Ensure company goals & objectives are clearly communicated to the ground staff and meet consistently.
Conduct in house training to ensure all staffs are cross trained and review the latest development of quality expectation towards effective operation.
Manage the effective implementation and use of the appropriate technology in all sections of the service chain, to enhance service and improve productivity.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in integrated warehouse solution at a multinational or renowned local logistics company.
Master’s degree is preferred in related field.
Thorough knowledge of logistics & freight forwarding business and understanding of Product offering & compliant with industry norms.
Sound knowledge of integrated warehouse system practices and buying procedures.
Must have good management, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
