Organization: University of the Punjab

SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following posts for appointment in the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Appointments will be purely on contract / Visiting / Adjunct (Per hour) basis for 1 year, extendable to a maximum of 3 years based on performance.
The Centre will follow HEC eligibility criteria for the appointment of Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professors.

Available Positions

1. Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor (Solid State Physics or related fields)

Minimum Qualification: PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Equivalence is required in case of a foreign university degree.
Experience:
- 10 years of teaching/research in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
  OR
- 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Publications Requirement: The applicant must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.

2. Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor (Physical Chemistry or related fields)

Minimum Qualification: PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Equivalence is required in case of a foreign university degree.
Experience:
- 10 years of teaching/research in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
  OR
- 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Publications Requirement: The applicant must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.

3. Visiting / Adjunct Associate Professor (Bio-Nano Technology or related fields)

Minimum Qualification: PhD degree in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Equivalence is required in case of a foreign university degree.
Experience:
- 10 years of teaching/research in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
  OR
- 5 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University, post-graduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Publications Requirement: The applicant must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years.
