University of Management and Technology (UMT) invites applications for the position of Senior Officer – Governance & Strategic Monitoring at the UMT Board of Governors (BOG) Secretariat.

📌 Position: Senior Officer – Governance & Strategic Monitoring

Role Summary

The selected candidate will support governance operations, monitor strategic initiatives, coordinate with academic and administrative departments, and prepare analytical reports to support informed decision-making by the Board of Governors.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate governance activities and follow up on Board and committee decisions
Monitor implementation of strategic initiatives and institutional priorities
Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and governance documentation
Liaise with departments to track action items and institutional performance
Consolidate institutional data and ensure timely reporting
Support compliance monitoring and governance processes
Maintain records, agendas, minutes, resolutions, trackers, and policy documents
Identify risks and support governance improvements

Eligibility Criteria

🎓 Education:

Minimum 16 years of education

💼 Experience:

2–4 years of relevant experience

Required Skills

✅ Strong communication and coordination skills
✅ Analytical and problem-solving abilities
✅ Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
✅ Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
