JOB SUMMARY:
United King is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee outlet operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shift activities, enforcing company policies, and maintaining overall store performance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain high customer service standards, ensuring complaints are resolved efficiently.
- Monitor and improve the customer experience, ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping environment.
- Act as the overall in-charge of the outlet during the assigned shift.
- Manage and oversee cash handling, billing, and POS system operations.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels.
- Supervise and train front-line staff to maintain productivity and service excellence.
- Assign duties and ensure efficient workforce management during the shift.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, ensuring a motivated and disciplined team.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring minimal waste and stock shortages.
- Place timely orders to factories as per customer demand and store requirements.
- Conduct stock audits and ensure proper handling of store assets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and submit shift reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and operational issues.
- Implement marketing promotions and communicate ongoing discount offers to staff and customers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience: 2-4 years in a food retail, FMCG, or hospitality industry role.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in cash handling, POS systems, and inventory management.
- Ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Willing to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Open to relocation within Karachi as required.
