Position Title: Factory Accountant
Company: Treet Battery Division
Location: Daewoo Battery Faisalabad (a division of Treet Group of Companies)
Job Overview: Direct activities of product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation/audit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
ï€ Coordinate physical inventory counts for WIP and Warehouse Inventory
ï€ Perform month end close activities related to cost accounting
ï€ Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies/variances
ï€ Prepare monthly material usage variance reports for analysis with focus on cost control/reduction.
ï€ Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information as needed for decision making support.
ï€ Set up new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; create and maintain production BOMs; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates
ï€ Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
ï€ Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
ï€ Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in ERP system.
ï€ Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
ï€ Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls
ï€ Complete and coordinate annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
ï€ Oversee and scrutinize cash disbursements to vendors/employees
Skills: Strong command on Excel and Oracle ERP (Discrete Manufacturing)
Qualification: ACMA, ACCA (with relevant work experience in Manufacturing Industry).
Experience Requirement: Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience
Residents of Faisalabad will be preferred.
