Position Title: Factory Accountant

Company: Treet Battery Division
Location: Daewoo Battery Faisalabad (a division of Treet Group of Companies)

Job Overview: Direct activities of product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation/audit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Coordinate physical inventory counts for WIP and Warehouse Inventory
 Perform month end close activities related to cost accounting
 Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies/variances
 Prepare monthly material usage variance reports for analysis with focus on cost control/reduction.
 Prepare various financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, and expense information as needed for decision making support.
 Set up new raw material, packaging, WIP, and FG items; create and maintain production BOMs; maintain periodic cost rolls/updates
 Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
 Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
 Develop and maintain standard costs of finished goods and production components in ERP system.
 Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
 Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls
 Complete and coordinate annual audits and provide recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
 Oversee and scrutinize cash disbursements to vendors/employees

Skills: Strong command on Excel and Oracle ERP (Discrete Manufacturing)

Qualification: ACMA, ACCA (with relevant work experience in Manufacturing Industry).

Experience Requirement: Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience

Residents of Faisalabad will be preferred.
