We are looking for a Microbiologist to join our team.
If you have a BS degree in Microbiology along with relevant experience in laboratory testing, food safety, quality standards, internal audits, and laboratory practices, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of food products, air, water, and food contact surfaces in accordance with the testing plan, ensuring timely compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct internal audits, prepare Certificates of Analysis (COA), and maintain appropriate records of test results and corrective actions where required.
- Ensure laboratory and equipment suitability and calibration for accurate testing.
- Coordinate with departments on food safety protocols, training, regulatory compliance, and out-of-specification results.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar role. Experience in the food industry will be preferred.
Education: BS / M.Sc. in Microbiology
Competencies:
Must be strong in the following:
- Knowledge of laboratory compliances, food safety protocols, with effective communication skills
- Proficiency in microbiological techniques and testing methods
- Research, interpretation, and data analysis skills
