- Academic Qualification: M.A or M.Ed. or BS (first division or grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of deaf or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and age limit (including age relaxation) as per STI Policy issued by the Special Education Department. Fresh aspiring candidates having relevant qualification are encouraged to apply. However, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable.
Preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.
Duration: Financial Year 2026-27 (excluding summer vacations) or till the arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
Monthly Honorarium:
- BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
- BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by concerned authorities.
Engagement may be terminated on one month notice or payment in lieu thereof.
Incomplete or late applications shall not be entertained.
Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
The department reserves the right to increase/decrease number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
The engagement of STIs will be made in accordance with the above-mentioned policy and the hired STIs will also be governed in accordance with the said policy.
