Overview
At SPAR Pakistan, finance plays a critical role in enabling growth and operational control across our retail stores. We are currently looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting to strengthen our finance function within a fast-paced food retail environment.
This role is suited for a detail-oriented finance professional with hands-on experience in receivables management, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The position works closely with store operations and senior finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting, timely collections, and strong financial governance across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to support financials.
- Assist in month-end and closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Monitor store-level P&L performance and identify variances.
- Collaborate with store managers and operations expenses, sales, and inventory-related financials.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for retail locations.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs for management reporting.
- Assist in external audits, ensuring timely documentation.
- Develop reporting mechanism that enables process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: ACCA part qualified, ICMA Part qualified, BBA or MBA.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in Financial Reporting, preferably in Food Retail Industry and expertise in Power BI is essential for this role.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
