𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, and ensuring product quality through both manual and automated testing processes.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
● Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
● Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
● Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
● Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
● Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a QA engineer, SQA tester, or similar role.
● Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
● Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞:
● Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
● Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
● ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus.
