Qualification: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Engineering
Experience: 06 + years of work experience in equipment maintenance including heavy machinery including excavators, trucks, loaders, dozers and graders
Role description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mining Equipment Maintenance person who is responsible for driving maintenance strategy, equipment availability, and reliability through disciplined execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices. The role oversees critical KPIs such as MTBF/MTTR, planned maintenance compliance, condition monitoring accuracy, and uptime for essential equipment. You will lead and develop technical teams, ensuring high diagnostic accuracy, strong training performance, and adherence to safety, LOTO, and environmental standards. The position requires strong budget and cost-control capabilities, managing maintenance cost per machine, overhaul variances, and total cost of ownership. You will ensure robust inventory and spare-parts management, effective coordination with operations, and timely response to production needs. Additionally, the role drives continuous improvement, innovation, and accurate CMMS-based reporting to enhance overall maintenance performance and operational efficiency.
