Simpaisa is looking for a Finance Treasury, Manager who will oversee all Treasury operations and reporting tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The role will involve managing cash flow, liquidity, and risk, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and providing insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor and maintain effective relationships with banks to optimize financial services and terms.
-Ensure sufficient cash is available for daily operational needs, supporting smooth business operations.
-Manage remittances and its data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
-Oversee the management and reporting of merchants’ ledgers.
-Handle FX data and reporting, assessing impacts on the company’s financial standing.
-Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in managing overall consolidated treasury tasks.
-Provide suggestions for enhancing the company’s cash management processes.
-Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility in response to organizational needs.
-Contribute to cross-border pay-ins and payouts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Requirements:
· ACCA/CA Qualified or Part Qualified or Master’s degree in finance, or in a related field from a reputed university.
· Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in treasury management, preferably within the FinTech or financial services industry.
· Proficient in cash forecasting and cash management techniques, with a proven ability to optimize liquidity.
