Samba Bank Limited a majority owned subsidiary of Saudi National Bank (formerly Samba Financial Group) of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire Green Banking Officer for its Risk Management Department in Karachi.
Job Title: Green Banking Officer
Location: Karachi
Minimum Education: Graduate in Environmental Sciences
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of banking experience with least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the Green Banking Policy and Environmental & Social Risk Management (ESRM).
- Ensure effectiveness of the Green Banking governance structure.
- Ensure that risk management procedures are designed and implemented to mitigate and monitor environmental and social risks.
- Liaising with Green Business Officers for development of green products.
- Ensure coordination with Green Operations Officer for potential re-engineering of internal operations and procedures with a view to reduce impact on environment.
- Compile and analyze data regarding Environmental & Social Risk Management System for Management and Regulatory Reporting.
- Develop and implement Internal Capacity Building Plan.
