We’re Hiring: Senior Manager Credit Risk
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing credit risk frameworks, monitoring credit portfolios, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review credit risk policies and frameworks in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the risk appetite statement of the bank.
- Assist Head Credit Risk in preparation of policies, procedural framework and product programs.
- Monitor credit portfolios, identify emerging risks, and analyze portfolio performance.
- Conduct risk assessment of credit proposals and support the credit approval process.
- Development of new credit scorecards and monitoring/validation of scorecards regularly.
- Quality assurance of credit approvals through digital channels.
- Prepare credit risk MIS and reports for management and risk committees.
- Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations and internal risk governance.
- Support portfolio stress testing, risk analytics, and early warning monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental & Social risk guidelines while building credit portfolio
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certifications (MBA/FRM) preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in credit risk within banking or financial services.
