Education
- Graduation / MBA
Requirements and skills
- 8 to 10 Year Experience in Import Department
- Sound Knowledge of Weboc and PSW system.
- Sound Knowledge of ERP Systems & MS EXCEL
- Sound Knowledge of Custom SRO.
- Checking PCT code & according for import duty calculation and EFS management.
- Complete knowledge of Import / Local LC opening, LC amendments / modifications, import contracts (D/P), Insurance cover notes, copy documents, follow-ups and arrangement etc.
- Documentations and liaison with banks for Import Advance payments & submission of GD’s to bank to complete import formalities.
- Tracking of import shipment and its retirement, funds arrangement, duties payment, wharfage etc. & coordination with custom agent & trucking company for timely release of cargo by avoiding demurrages/detention charges till company warehouse.
- Knowledge of bonded warehouses operations & demurrage and detention / storage workings
- MIS reports for outstanding LC’s bank limits in hand, data of accepted / unaccepted documents.
- Coordination with Marketing teams for receipt of Local customer LC’s, checking clauses, coordination with bank for original LC collection
- Knowledge of Local LC documents preparation & submission to banks (including commercial invoices, Packing lists, truck receipts in ERP environment
- Follow-up with banks to generate Local Documents Bill Collection (LDBC) & resolution of discrepancies in submitted documents till receipt of customer acceptances
