Position Title: Manager Finance CGT

Job Description:

Ensure all reporting’s related to Income Tax/ Sales Tax /financial statements and other reports submissions are completed accurately and submitted within stipulated timelines.
Prepare Advance Tax calculation on quarterly basis with the co-ordination of Tax Advisor.
Ensure payment of Principal and interest to MoF as per repayment schedule.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation and prepare monthly management accounts.
Ensure compliance of IAS/IFRS and relevant SBP/SECP circulars for preparation of financial statements.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Liaise with external and internal auditors to support the finalization of statutory and internal audit. Interact with other departments’ managers to provide consultative support through financial and management information analysis and reports.
Prepare and present Annual Budget of both schemes to trustee committee and relevant authorities.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions including Guarantee Premium and Settlement of Claims.
To monitor funds of schemes, open and maintain bank accounts of Trust.
Coordinate with Treasury for placements/investments of Trust Funds.
Develop/review and update policies, including impact of change in accounting standards, SBP guidelines, tax laws or other relevant circulars.
Coordinate with MOF for any information required under the Trust Deed and related agreements.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Departmental Head.

Eligibility:

Qualification: The candidate must be a Qualified ACCA or ICMA.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting.

Possess competencies such as Teamwork, Communication Skills, Customer Service Focus, Self-Management, Dependability, and Problem-Solving.
