Assistant Vice President – Credit Risk
Reports to: Vice President, Risk Management Department
Job Summary To facilitate approval and disbursement of loans and perform credit risk assessment, while being compliant with all the rules, regulations and policies also retain all legal, credit and compliance related documents in safe custody.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for arranging facility documents including Acceptance Letters, Loan Agreements, and other legal documents before authorization of credit.
- Ensure credit documents remain current and prepare and escalate exception reports.
- Ensure that all fresh/additional disbursements/renewal of facilities to be made unless the documentation is in order and as per approved terms.
- Review ratings of borrowers based on Institutional Rating System and credit proposals presented by Portfolio Management Department.
- Conduct field visits to borrower’s Head Office, branches & end clients and prepare back to office reports.
- Review monthly and quarterly progress of the Sector and PMIC’s borrowers, and share the breaches based on consolidated covenants compliance status shared by borrowers.
- Engage with various stakeholders, both inside and outside the organization and effectively managing work relationships.
- Review/update credit policies and procedures
- Preparation of MRC and BRC packs for the credit section
Education Master’s in business administration in Finance from a reputable institution. International Certifications would be an added advantage
Experience 10-12 Years in a Credit Department of any Bank/ Financial Institution
