WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Services of Research Associates under PARB Projects are required at Nuclear Institute for Agriculture and Biology (NIAB), Faisalabad. Qualification, experience, and age required for the posts are as follows:

PARB Project-22-572
Project Name: Development of High yielding phyllody and charcoal rot diseases resistant/tolerant varieties of sesame
Qualification: M.Sc (Hons) Agri or M.Phil in Biological Sciences with at least two 1st Divisions (1 in M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) and no 3rd division in the academic career
Experience: Preference will be given to the candidate having relevant experience
Pay: Rs. 75,000/- + 7% annual increment of initial pay
Period: 1 year extendable up to further 4 years
Age: 18-35 years
PARB Project-22-577
Project Name: Management of Sheath blight and Bacterial leaf blight disease of rice through development of resistant varieties and safe chemicals
Qualification: M.Sc (Hons) in the field of plant pathology with at least two 1st divisions (1 in M.Sc/B.Sc (Hons) and no 3rd division in the academic career
Experience: Experience of handling fungal and bacterial plant pathogens of rice crop
Pay: Rs. 75,000/- + 7% annual increment of initial pay
Period: 1 year extendable up to further 2 years
Age: 18-35 years

Candidates will have to undergo an interview by a Selection Board. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
Those who fulfill the required criteria may appear for Walk-in-Interview with original/photocopies of educational certificates/degrees, experience certificates, National Identity Cards, and two passport size photographs at 08:30 a.m. on 10-10-2024 at NIAB, Near Model Bazar, Jhang Road, Faisalabad.
