We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional to join our Internal Audit Team.
Position: Deputy Manager – Internal Audit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; CA finalist, ACCA, ACMA, or CIA qualification preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in retail, including experience supervising audit assignments.
• Strong understanding of risk-based auditing, internal controls, financial processes, and operational compliance.
• Ability to plan and execute audits across retail stores, warehouses, and head office functions.
• Experience reviewing inventory, cash handling, procurement, sales, expenses, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to identify control gaps, assess risks, investigate discrepancies, and recommend practical improvements.
• Experience conducting stock counts, surprise checks, and compliance reviews.
• Strong skills in preparing audit reports with clear findings, supporting evidence, and corrective recommendations.
• Ability to follow up on agreed action plans and verify the closure of audit observations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis to identify exceptions and unusual trends.
• Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and team supervision skills.
• High standards of integrity, confidentiality, professional judgment, and attention to detail.
