Position: Assistant Brand Manager

Job Purpose: To support the Brand Manager in implementing the brand strategies and activities for the assigned products in the category in order to grow market presence, brand awareness and increase customer loyalty

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with NFL’s overall business objectives and target market for the assigned products
• Work closely with the Category Brand Manager to monitor product performance, identifying opportunities for product improvements, and managing product life cycles
• Use data to analyse market trends, understand consumer insights, and the competitive landscape and contribute to identifying opportunities for growth and differentiation of the allocated category
• Work with the team across marketing to develop the brand positioning, messaging, and identify marketing activities that effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition to the target audience
• Ensure that the brand’s visual elements, including logo, packaging, and design are in line with the brand guidelines
• Escalate any potential issues that may affect the brand’s reputation or performance of the allocated category
• Assist in implementing brand guidelines for relevant products and develop all communication and marketing materials in line with the guidelines
• Track the performance of each product in the allocated category, analyse data to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and identify areas for improvement
• Support the planning and execution of events, product launches, and trade shows to promote the brand and build relationships with key stakeholders
• Facilitate the execution of promotional campaigns and advertising initiatives
• Assist the Brand Manager with new product launches from product development and testing to marketing and distribution
• Assist in the implementation of digital marketing strategies, including social media management, online advertising, and e-commerce initiatives

Position: Assistant Manager Treasury

Job Purpose:

To provide support across all treasury related activities, including cash and funding management, credit facilities, management of cash flows, debt and liquidity positions, financial risk, and identifying short- and long-term investments

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and record intercompany transactions, focusing on export remittances and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date and maintained as per NFL documents management systems
• Analyse historical financial data and inputs from various departments to project future cash needs and assist the Manager Treasury in determining potential borrowing or investment strategies
• Prepare and review comprehensive stock reports to all partnered banks and provision for agreement renewal documents on an annual basis
• Collaborate with the Manager Treasury to identify financial vulnerabilities, assess the impact of foreign exchange and interest rate fluctuations and recommend mitigation strategies
• Handle applications and rollovers for Money Market and short-term investments, ensuring maximised returns by negotiating favourable rates for foreign currency transactions
• Conduct weekly reviews of bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are reconciled by the end of the month and address any discrepancies
• Regularly update and maintain trackers for Letter of Credit (LC) and forward bookings and collaborate with banks to expedite the release of LC documents
• Prepare monthly finance cost accruals and maintain cash flow forecasts to provide insights into liquidity management
• Consolidate financial data to prepare and present clear periodic reports highlighting key indicators and potential financial risks
• Review and verify markup calculations for short- and long-term loans from local and international banks and oversee timely lease payments to uphold financial integrity
• Maintain strong operational relationships with banking partners and resolve day-to-day queries with banks and internal teams
• Address any cause notices received from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) related to delays in export remittances
• Manage the filing and updating of the EEEF statement for ERF renewals to ensure timely submissions
• Assist in establishing and ensuring the implementation of bank operations policies while aiding in the management of bank relations
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in treasury and management to ensure NFL maintains a best practice approach at all times

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 10-12 years of experience
Or
• Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 8-10 years of experience
