GOVERNMENT OF SINDH INFORMATION DEPARTMENT

POSITION VACANT: Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Male/Female) having Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province for the following vacancies in Information Department, as per Qualification and Experience indicated against each post, within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement:

VACANCIES DETAIL:

1. Stenographer

BPS: 14

Educational Qualifications, Experience & Other Conditions as per recruitment rules:
- i. Bachelor’s Degree at least in Second Division or equivalent CGPA from a HEC recognized University.

ii. Having six months certificate in Shorthand and English Typing from an Institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

iii. Having speed of 120 w.p.m. in Shorthand and 35 w.p.m. in English typing on computer.

iv. Having Certificate in MS Office from an Institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

2. Steno Typist

BPS: 14

- i. Bachelor’s Degree at least in Second Division or equivalent CGPA from a HEC recognized University.

iii. 01 to 02 years’ experience in handling Digital / HD Cameras and photography / Archiving.

4. Junior Clerk

5. Calligraphist

6. Assistant Cameraman

ii. Having practical 02 years of experience in relevant field with certified Electrician Course.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

I. Applicants who fulfill following requirements should apply for the aforementioned vacancies on Job Portal of Government of Sindh at http://sjp.gos.pk.

II. Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Bachelor, Intermediate & Matriculation Categories, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) and possess its certificate, issued by STS, as required for appointment to the aforementioned posts.

III. Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Lime) Rules, 2024. However, the upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (SGA&CD)564/2011(Part. 11) dated 06.03.2025.

IV. The candidates after appointments shall be governed by the “Defined Contribution Pension Scheme 2024”.

V. The share of quota reserved for initial appointment, including 15% Women Quota, 5% Minority Quota, and 5% Disabled Quota, shall be observed as per the Law, Rules, and Policy of the Government of Sindh.

VI. Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring original copy of the NOC at the base of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.

VII. The appointment shall be made as per the Policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under the provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973/74 and its Rule, as amended from time to time.

VIII. The applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
