Position: Deputy Manager – Accounts & Taxation
Location: Korangi Industrial Area – Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
- Filing of quarterly income tax withholding statement, quarterly advance income tax statement, annual Return of Income, and monthly Sales Tax Return – FBR
- Prepare sales tax refund files
- Filing of monthly withholding statement of SRB, PRA & KPRA
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their business impact
- Support tax planning and optimization initiatives
- Prepare financial statements
- Reconcile tax accounts and maintain proper documentation
- Oversee day to day accounting operations
- Maintain fixed asset reports
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or ACCA/CA (part-qualified) is a plus
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in commercial finance in FMCG
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
- Experience handling tax audits and assessments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
