Position Name: Officer System Admin
Location: Lahore
Job Description: System Admin Job (Entry Level). Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure related to Servers, Operating Systems, Computer Networking and virtualization concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Zealous and energetic to quickly learn Unix/Linux Operating System administration and virtualization technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a temperament to work under pressure.
• Assisting seniors in Unix/Linux system administration tasks and monitoring of systems.
• Maintaining system administration SOPs and documentation.
• Unix/Linux System Administration tasks more or less will involve the following:
- User management
- Filesystem management
- Troubleshooting performance issues
- Disk management using Linux Volume Manager
- Services for e.g. smtp, DNS, Sendmail/Postfix, ntp etc.
Requirements:
• BS degree in IT or Technology related field.
• Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure related to Servers, Operating Systems, Computer Networking and virtualization concepts.
• Experience with virtualization tools like VMware Workstation and Oracle Virtualbox.
• Fresh graduate or less than a year experience.
