QA ENGINEER (JUNIOR)
Location: Karachi
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of different softwares. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of manual testing, test case development, bug reporting and the software development lifecycle. If you have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an eagerness to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications to ensure each release meets defined quality standards before deployment to production.
- Analyze product requirements and design, document and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and API testing to validate system behavior, data integrity and cross-module workflows.
- Identify, document, prioritize and track defects through their full lifecycle and verify resolutions until closure.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders across the development lifecycle to identify risks early and uphold release quality.
- Maintain and continuously improve QA processes, test documentation and testing standards across all products.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- 1–2 years of Experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing and SDLC / STLC
- Experience writing test cases and bug reports
- Hands-on with bug tracking tools (Jira or similar)
- API testing using Postman
- Basic SQL for data validation
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Automation experience (Selenium, Cypress or Playwright)
- Performance testing (JMeter)
