MCB Islamic Bank is inviting CVs for the position of “Manager Shari’ah Audit” based in Lahore. Please only apply if you fulfill the criteria mentioned in the job details.

CITY: Lahore

GRADE: OG-I

QUALIFICATION:

Shahdat al Almiyah degree is mandatory.
ACCA/ACMA/MBA/M.Com or relevant Master degree. CSAA, or Certification in Islamic Banking and Finance will be considered as value addition.
Good knowledge of Internal Audit Standards and operational implementation.
Well versed in Shari’ah Standards as issued by AAOIFI.
Leadership & Teamwork skills for developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Ability to withstand pressure and deliver in accordance with timelines.
Prior success in conducting internal Shari’ah audits and understanding of external Shari’ah audits
Good analytical skills for handling huge data with decent interpersonal communication skills (Written & Oral)

JOB ROLE:

Assist in preparation of Risk Based Annual Audit Plan.
Prepare Audit programs in line with approved policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks.
Perform audit, draft observations along with appropriate evidence and finalize in consultation with line manager.
Discuss the issues with concerned stakeholders for agreement and action plan for resolution.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies as issued by SBP from time to time.
Finalize the audit report and complete working papers in accordance with approved procedures.
Remain updated on current policies, procedures and regulatory requirements as applicable to his / her area.
Initiate / recommend value addition in audit working based on amendments in laws, regulations and bank’s policies and procedures.
Any other task assigned by internal audit management.
