Factory Hygienist (Location – Raiwind)
Description
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust hygiene and sanitation systems that comply with national and international food safety and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve hygiene and sanitation procedures and policies in line with applicable food safety standards (e.g., GMP, BRC, FSSC 22000).
- Design and deliver hygiene, HACCP and GMP training programs for all factory staff.
- Monitor and maintain implementation of the HACCP plan, including verification and validation of control measures for identified food safety hazards.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to embed hygiene best practices across all operations.
- Supervise and evaluate the pest control program, ensuring proper execution of preventive measures and corrective actions in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements Qualification: Masters in Food Sciences & Technology
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a hygiene or sanitation role within a food manufacturing environment
