DEPUTY MANAGER – ACCOUNTS
Responsibilty:
- Supervise and lead the retail accounts team for daily accounting operations.
- Manage end-to-end accounting of retail outlets and e-commerce channels.
- Ensure accurate sales recording, cash handling, and outlet-wise reconciliation.
- Perform and review bank reconciliations including POS and online settlements.
- Handle card transactions and payment gateway reconciliations.
- Manage bank discount / promotional card offers and settlements.
- Ensure recovery and adjustment of bank-funded promotional discounts.
- Oversee payroll processing of retail staff.
- Manage rent, utilities, and operational payments.
- Verify vouchers, invoices, and accounting entries.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and vendors.
- Maintain internal controls and compliance.
- Support budgeting and financial analysis.
Requirements:
- ICMA (Inter Qualified) – Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounts/finance role
- Retail and e-commerce accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation and payment systems
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
