Available Positions
1. Professor Microbiology (KMU-Institute of Pathology & Diagnostic Medicine, Peshawar)
- Pay Scale: BPS-21
- No. of Posts: 01
- Minimum Qualification:
- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Experience:
- 08 years post-PhD experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Publications:
- 15 research publications in HEC/PM&DC-recognized journals, with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years.
2. Lecturer Chemical Pathology
- Pay Scale: BPS-18
- No. of Posts: 01
- Minimum Qualification:
- MBBS/BDS with 2 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
OR - M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- MBBS/BDS with 2 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
3. Lecturer Oral Pathology
- Pay Scale: BPS-18
- No. of Posts: 01
- Minimum Qualification:
- M.Phil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
4. Professor Microbiology (KMU-Hospital & Research Center, Peshawar)
- Pay Scale: BPS-21
- No. of Posts: 01
- Minimum Qualification:
- PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Experience:
- 08 years post-PhD experience in an HEC-recognized university/postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Publications:
- 15 research publications in HEC/PM&DC-recognized journals, with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years.
Important Notes
✔ Preference will be given to candidates with MBBS/BDS qualifications for faculty positions in Basic Medical Sciences, Pathology, and Diagnostic Medicine. This criterion will apply prospectively and will not affect already appointed faculty members with non-MBBS/BDS qualifications.
✔ The university reserves the right to increase/decrease or cancel the number of posts.
