Who are we looking for?

1- 2 years of experience in a financial environment. Exposure to Banking Operations, experience and knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, AML/CFT Act and best practices will be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics/ Commerce from an HEC recognized/overseas institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Oversight:

. Provide strategic direction for automation and process improvements data analytics to enhance monitoring efficiency.
. Oversee system optimization to minimize false positives while ensuring robust detection of suspicious activities.

Monitoring & Investigation:

. Supervise a team of analysts responsible for reviewing, investigating, and escalating transaction monitoring alerts.
. Lead fraud detection efforts by investigating high-risk transactions and financial crime cases.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting:

. Ensure full compliance with AML/CFT laws, FATF recommendations, and SBP guidelines, staying updated on evolving regulations.
. Oversee the timely filing of STRs and CTRs, ensuring 100% regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Training & Awareness:

. Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, IT, Legal, and Business Units to strengthen transaction monitoring controls.
. Liaise with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement agencies on financial crime investigations and compliance audits.

Compliance & Regulatory Adaptability:

. Ensure strict adherence to SBP guidelines, FATF recommendations, AML Act 2010, and international AML standards.
