Who are we looking for?
· Preferably Masters in Business Administration/Banking/Finance from a recognized university.
· Candidates with Certifications / Trainings in Business Process Management and Business Continuity Planning will be given preference.
Skills.
· Minimum 7 years of branch banking operations, process improvement and business continuity planning experience preferably with a multinational Bank or financial intuition.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the definition, revamp, and management of SOPs under the Governance Desk, ensuring document integrity, control embedding, and regulatory compliance.
· Optimize document review processes through structured walkthroughs, stakeholder engagement, dispute resolution, and timely closures.
· Provide governance-focused review and feedback on internal and external documents to ensure workflow completeness, clear R&R, effective controls, and monitoring assurance.
· Support management-led strategic initiatives to reduce operational and resource costs while strengthening controls, reporting, and accountability mechanisms.
· Oversee upkeep of BOM, SOPs, and ASB, and support compliance and audit reviews as required.
· Govern BCP and DR frameworks, including SOP updates, drills, BIAs, APS assessments, training coordination, and continuous improvement through BCPC.
· Act as Secretary to the BCP Committee, managing meeting coordination, reporting, and status tracking.
· Support governance, BCP, DRU, Treasury, and operations teams in daily deliverables, MIS, regulatory data provisioning, and stakeholder support.
· Manage P&P approvals, circulations, MIS updates, and escalations on disputed or missing controls to relevant committees.
· Provide administrative and functional leadership to governance-related teams, including capability building, training, performance development, and career planning.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive aligned, coordinated, and high-quality deliveries, along with ad-hoc management support as required.
Skills:
· Sound understanding of banking regulations. Incumbent’s role as banking operations trainer will be an added advantage.
· Proficient in MS Office.
· Willing to travel across KMBL network.
