We are looking to hire an experienced Manager Mechanical Maintenance to oversee mechanical operations, ensuring smooth plant machinery performance through effective maintenance management and team leadership. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food manufacturing or the pharma industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the annual preventive maintenance schedule for the plant.
- Establish and manage a team for daily and annual maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with departments for new instruments requiring planned maintenance.
- Monitor daily work orders and job status.
- Manage consumption of spares and materials in the maintenance area.
- Guide the team in diagnosing faults and solutions.
- Assess the need for local development of critical parts and revise inventory levels.
- Verify sketches, dimensions, and specifications for required components/spares.
- Suggest improvements for plant operations.
- Conduct daily inspections and ensure timely maintenance of machines.
- Ensure sufficient stock of lubricants, chemicals, and other materials.
- Train workers/operators on proper machine operation.
- Maintain logbooks for Oil Heaters, Compressors, and Chillers.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- BE (Mechanical) from a reputable institute.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Food Manufacturing/Pharma Industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in Condition-Based Monitoring.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
