IRD Pakistan Jobs Healthcare Officer:Â IRD Pakistan (New JOb: Healthcare Officer)
JOB PURPOSE:Â The Healthcare Officer will be involved in the day to day liaison with the community and collecting data from the community and patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct field visits on a day-to-day basis
- Once trained, utilize community engagement approaches (SALT – Support, Appreciate, Listen and Transfer) to develop and maintain strong relationships with communities in their designated areas
- Reach out to focal people/community leaders and identify Community Facilitators
- Conduct regular meetings with the community
- Attend regular refresher sessions as part of Community Engagement Center (CEC)
- Establish referrals for different public health problems, including mental health
- Document all community engagement work in the shared tools and reporting formats
- Provide counseling and support to patients diagnosed with TB
- Supporting other staff members of the team when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines regarding all clients, conversations and referrals
- Calling up the patients for Follow-up
- Any other task assigned by Line Manager
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- Intermediate
- Matriculation with added work experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working in the field as a health officer
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with MS Office
- Able to effectively read and write in English or at least in Roman Urdu
- Fluency in regional language
- Good communication skills
- Experience of field work
