It is a Resident Engineer position on the payroll of the InfoTech group.
The duty station will be Ufone Islamabad.
Minimum qualification required graduation preferably in Information Technology/ Computer Sciences.
The description of the job is as follows
Responsibilities:
- Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of all front end IT related equipment which includes but not limited to
- Desktops
- Laptops
- Printers
- Scanners
- Multimedia Devices
- Video Conferencing devices
- Preparation of Desktops & Laptops e.g. installation of Microsoft OS & standard and business applications as per requirement on client end machines.
- Installation and troubleshooting of client end business and standard applications which includes MS Office, Adobe products etc.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows on end user’s laptops/desktops
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Wired and Wireless LAN network on end user’s laptops/desktops
- Timely handling of Incidents and Requests assigned on USM
- Daily verification of IT equipment checklist and ensuring availability of IT services on assigned location.
Experience: 3 to 4 years.

- Looking after IT Warehousing of Ufone
- Verification and Processing of IT Invoices
- Initiation of procurement requests
- Follow-up with Finance and Procurement department for processing of invoices and purchase requisition
- Issuance of IT equipment from warehouse
- Creating reservations on SAP for all warehouse issuances
- Maintaining inventory of IT assets regularly
- Proficient in business communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
